Scholarship General Information
HDFC Bank Parivartan's ECSS Programme is an initiative of HDFC Bank that aims to support meritorious and needy students belonging to underprivileged sections of society. The scholarship programme is meant for school students from Classes 1 to 12 and those pursuing diploma, ITI, polytechnic, UG, and PG (general and professional) programmes. Under the ECSS programme, the students who are unable to bear the cost of education due to personal/family crises or any other financial problems and are at risk of dropping out are provided with monetary assistance of up to INR 75,000 for their studies.
HDFC Bank’s social initiative ‘Parivartan’ has been a catalyst in making a difference in the lives of people through its interventions in the areas of rural development, education, skill development and livelihood enhancement, healthcare & hygiene and financial literacy.

Eligibility Criteria
For Postgraduate Students
The students must be pursuing postgraduate courses (general courses such as M.Com., M.A., etc., and professional courses such as M.Tech., M.B.A., etc.) in recognized colleges or universities in India.
The applicants must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks.
The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lakh.
Preference will be given to those applicants who have experienced personal or family crises that have occurred during the past three years due to which they are unable to continue bearing the cost of education and are at risk of dropping out.
Open to Indian nationals only.
For Undergraduate Students
The students must be pursuing graduation courses (general courses such as B.Com., B.Sc., B.A., B.C.A., etc., and professional courses such as B.Tech., M.B.B.S., L.L.B., B.Arch., Nursing) in recognized colleges or universities in India.
The applicants must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks.
The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.
Preference will be given to those applicants who have experienced personal or family crises that have occurred during the past three years due to which they are unable to continue bearing the cost of education and are at risk of dropping out.

- The students must be currently studying in Classes 1 to 12, or pursuing diploma, ITI, and polytechnic courses in private, government, or government-aided schools.
- The applicants must have passed the previous qualifying examination with at least 55% marks.
- The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh.
- Preference will be given to those applicants who have experienced personal or family crises that have occurred during the past three years due to which they are unable to continue bearing the cost of education and are at risk of dropping out.

Selection Process
The selection process of HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECSS Programme is a multi-stage process where students are selected based on merit, financial need, or personal/family crisis. Details of the selection process are mentioned below:
