COMEDK UGET is the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test for admissions into various engineering colleges. It contains three sections: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.The Entrance Test COMEDK UGET-2022 will be conducted only in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and is mandatory for all candidates seeking admissions to B.E courses in Member Institutions of COMEDK. A merit / rank is generated based on the candidate's scores in entrance test only.

COMEDK UGET 2022 EXAM: ELIGIBILITY HIGHLIGHTS

1. The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E./B. Tech is the second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
2. The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted.
3. An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.
4. Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.

COMEDK UGET

COMEDK UGET is the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test for admissions into various engineering colleges. COMEDK has the responsibility to conduct and organise the testing protocols to test the merit of aspiring candidates in a transparent, non-exploitative, effective and fair procedure. It does not conduct entrance exam for admission to medicine course. Admission to MBBS/BDS/Ayush etc is done through NEET.

For the current academic year 2022-23, COMEDK would conduct an online examination all over India on Sunday, the 19th June 2022, across 400 centers for Engineering programs which offer around 20000 seats and will be followed by online counseling.

COMEDK UGET 2022 EXAM SELECTION PROCESS

Candidates applying for the COMEDK UGET exam must first fulfill all eligibility conditions given by the COMEDK. The eligible candidates are requested to fill out the COMEDK application form 2022 by paying the application fee. The COMEDK UGET is a single-stage computer-based examination. The students who acquire the minimum cut-off marks are qualified for admission to various Engineering colleges under COMEDK.

COMEDK UGET

COMEDK is the “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” – an autonomous institution consisting of senior academicians and reputed administrative officers who have been associated with the educational eco system. This autonomous COMEDK was entrusted the responsibility to organize testing procedures to determine the merit of aspiring students in an effective, fair, transparent and non-exploitative procedure by KPCF (Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation – Medical & Dental) and KUPECA (Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association).

COMEDK UGET is the entrance exam for admission to Engineering ( BE/BTech courses). It does not conduct an entrance exam for admission to medical courses and B. Arch Course. Admission to MBBS/BDS/Ayush etc is done through NEET. COMEDK has been serving 16 Medical, 24 Dental and around 190 Engineering Colleges. COMEDK since its inception in 2004-05 has been conducting the annual entrance exam for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the member institutions and has also been organizing single window centralized counseling process over the last 15 years.

Subsequent to the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) being mandated as the only acceptable entrance exam for admission to Medical and Dental courses in the country, COMEDK continues the evaluation process for the members of KUPECA i.e., around 190 Engineering colleges. For the current academic year 2022-23, COMEDK would conduct an online examination all over India on Sunday, the 19th June 2022, across 400 centers for Engineering programs which offer around 20000 seats and will be followed by online counseling.

There is no Entrance Test conducted by COMEDK for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course. Candidates seeking admission to B. Arch course shall submit separate application form for counseling as per the notification on COMEDK website (which will be made available before counseling). Candidates interested only in Architecture course, need not fill the online application form for Engineering entrance exam.

COMEDK UGET 2022 EXAM APPLICATION PROCESS

COMEDK 2022 application process ended on May 14. The application process is online. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can only fill out the application form. The application process involves several steps, such as registering, completing the application form, uploading the required documents, paying the fee, and final submission.

COMEDK UGET EXAM APPLICATION FORM DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Before filling out the application form the candidates are advised to keep all the required documents with themselves so that filling out the form is easy. The list of required documents is mentioned below:

1. Valid email id and mobile number.
2. Scanned photographs and signatures.
3. Valid photo id card details.
4. Other documents are required (if applicable).
5. Personal and academic details.
6. Fee payment details debit/ credit card, etc.

STEPS TO FILL COMEDK UGET EXAM ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

Below are the steps that the students need to follow when completing the application form for COMEDK UGET:

1. Registration: To apply for COMEDK UGET, candidates will have to register on the official website. To register for the exam, candidates had to enter certain details. After successful registration, candidates were provided the registration number and password.

2. Filling up the application form: The next step is to fill COMEDK UGET application form. Candidates need to fill their personal, academic, and contact details in the application form and note down system-generated application numbers. They also have to create a password that will be used for future logins. Below are the details that the candidates should fill in the application form.

Educational qualification, work experience & languages: Here, candidates need to enter details of their graduation such as year of passing, college, percentage of marks, grade (if any). They are also required to enter their work experience. Candidates are also required to enter the languages they can read, write and speak.

3. Upload of Prescribed Documents & Images (Photographs and Scanned Signatures): upload photographs, signatures. After filling COMEDK UGET application form, candidates will be asked to upload the scanned copies of their recent passport size photograph and specimen signature as per the given specifications.

For online payment, candidates can pay through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking /Paytm /UPI.

COMEDK UGET 2022 EXAM COUNCELING PROCESS

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has commenced the COMEDK UGET 2022 counseling on July 19. Candidates can register online for COMEDK counseling 2022 till August 12. After shortlisting, candidates have to report with their original documents at their choice of college and now candidates have to verify their documents. After verifying the documents candidates are allowed to choose their interested program and field. So, there is the counseling process where candidates need to choose their program and area of interest. The counseling procedure includes the following steps.

Eligibility criteria to participate in COMEDK Counseling
