BDes is an abbreviation for Bachelor of Design. BDes is a four-year undergraduate-level course that deals with the conceptual design process, furniture design, interior design, graphic design, and food design. Fashion designer: Fashion Designers work either independently or directly for an apparel company, creating various clothing and accessory designs that appeal to consumers. They often sketch their designs, and then select patterns and fabrics that best complement the designs. A capable Fashion Designer should understand the principles of design. In addition, they should be able to apply this knowledge to creating aesthetically pleasing and functional pieces.
Graphic designer: A graphic designer is in charge of creating visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to interface ideas and concepts through layouts, logos, and designs. Their job is to develop the overall layout and production design for mediums such as magazines, reports, advertisements, and brochures. Graphic designers create visual communications to convey messages in an effective and aesthetically pleasing manner.
Fashion stylist: A fashion stylist works with brands and fashion houses, designers to provide their advice on fashion, trends, and makeup. Admission Process
The admission process to the BDes course is done on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the different agencies. The candidates are required to visit the website of the entrance examination and register themselves. After registering, they are required to fill up the application form and upload the required documents in the prescribed format. After the examinations are published, the cut-off marks will be announced.
