About Course 

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) Course is a 2-year beginner-level course that teaches students how to examine, evaluate, and recognize various diseases. Candidates who have completed their class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for the DMLT course. The programme offers an in-depth understanding of the healthcare system and important aspects of human fluids such as pericardial fluid, pericardial fluid, peritoneal fluid, blood samples, urine, and other specimens. There is no common entrance exam to get admission into DMLT. Dedicated institutes held their own screening/ entrance test to grant test-takers admission. Some of the well-known institute-based entrance exams are the Manipal University Entrance Test, AISECT, University Entrance Exam, Amity University Entrance Test, Jamia Hamdard Entrance Test, etc. 

Candidates can study for the DMLT course offline/ in-person, and via distance learning. The availability differs from one college to another. Eligibility

1. The applicant must have completed 12th grade from a recognized board

1. DMLT admission is also taken on the basis of the merit list and the marks scored in 12th boards. There are some colleges like St John's University and Aligarh Muslin University that take admission on the marks scored in the entrance exam.

2. The application form can be filled out online or in person at the college.

3. Access the institution's official website, navigate to the admissions section, and complete the necessary paperwork, including your identifying information, a list of your grades, other required information, and the number of registration fees sought by the institute.

4. Candidates must register for the Entrance Exam by visiting the institute's official website, paying the registration fee, and submitting the necessary information and documents.
