About Course 

Diploma in Computer Application or DCA is a one-year diploma course that deals with the facets of computer applications. This course focuses on Internet Applications, MS Office, Database Management systems (DBMS), Operating systems, HTML, etc. Candidates can pursue the course after the completion of class 10 from a recognized institute with an aggregate mark of 40%. There is an age limit provided to the candidates to pursue the course which is 18- 22 years. 

The admission process for the DCA course is through direct admission and entrance exams. Candidates are required to fill out the application form of the respective colleges and apply. Some of the entrance exams include JEXPO and NTTF (Nettur Technical Training Foundation). 

After the successful compilation of the DCA course, candidates can opt for job roles such as Web Designer, Computer Operator, Data Entry Operator, Computer Technician, Technical Writer, etc. candidates can pursue the course online, offline and distant mode. Nettur Technical Training Foundation conducts entrance exams for candidates to get admitted to various diplomas, graduate, and prompts graduate courses in India. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. It is a computer-based exam where objective-based questions are asked. A total of 120 questions are asked in the exam and the format of the question is in the format of MCQs. 

JEXPO

The Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics West Bengal or JEXPO, will be conducted offline. It is conducted once in a year for the candidates willing to seek admission into various diploma courses. The duration of the exam is two hours and there are a total of 54 participating colleges in this course.
