Description
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially released the timetable for the Class 11 examinations on its website. According to the schedule, the exams will be conducted from May 20 to May 22, 2025.
As per the notice, all +2 school and college principals can download students' admit cards from the council’s portal starting May 13, 2025, and are required to distribute them to the respective candidates in time.
JAC Class 11 Exam Schedule 2025
The examination will be held in two sittings each day, with varying durations. Students will be given an additional 15 minutes before the exam begins to read the question paper.
May 20, 2025 (Tuesday):
First Sitting (10:45 AM – 12:00 PM):
For Science and Commerce: Core Language (English/Hindi – ENA/HNA), HNB + M.B.
40 questions for 40 marks
Second Sitting (2:00 PM – 3:15 PM):
For Arts: Core Language (ENA/HNA)
40 questions for 40 marks
May 21, 2025 (Wednesday):
First Sitting (10:45 AM – 1:00 PM):
For Science: Physics and Chemistry
For Commerce: Accountancy and Business Studies
40 + 40 questions totaling 80 marks
Second Sitting (2:00 PM – 5:15 PM):
For Arts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd optional subjects
40 + 40 + 40 questions totaling 120 marks
May 22, 2025 (Thursday):
First Sitting (10:45 AM – 1:00 PM):
For Science and Commerce: 3rd and 4th optional subjects
40 + 40 questions totaling 80 marks
Second Sitting (2:00 PM – 3:15 PM):
For Arts: Elective Language
40 questions for 40 marks
Exam Pattern And Additional Details
The council stated that the examination for five main subjects selected by students will be held through OMR sheets, and these will be conducted at designated centers only. Each subject paper will consist of MCQs worth 40 marks, and there will be a 10-mark internal assessment conducted by the respective institutions.
To successfully pass the examination, students must clear at least four out of five subjects.
