The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has officially issued the Group 1 Main Examination Hall Tickets for 2025. Candidates who successfully cleared the Preliminary Screening Test are now eligible to download their admit cards from the official website.
APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam 2025 Schedule
The written Main exam for Group-I services will be conducted from May 3 to May 9, 2025, across four district centres in Andhra Pradesh. Each day, the exam will take place from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM, covering a total of seven papers.

APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam Pattern
The Mains examination is descriptive in nature and consists of seven papers:
Qualifying Papers:
Paper A: Telugu Language
Paper B: English Language
Merit-based Papers:
Paper I: General Essay
Paper II: History and Cultural Heritage
Paper III: Polity, Constitution, Governance, Ethics & Law
Paper IV: Economy and Development (India & Andhra Pradesh)
Paper V: Science, Technology, and Environmental Issues
Each paper carries 150 marks, and candidates will have 180 minutes (3 hours) to complete each one. The Main Exam totals 825 marks, which includes 725 marks from the five evaluated papers and 75 marks for the Interview round.
Important Instructions For Candidates
Candidates are encouraged to download their admit cards early and carefully review all instructions mentioned on them.
Only the Hall Ticket is required at the exam centre; the instruction sheet is not needed.
Ensure you locate and verify the test centre location well before the exam day to avoid any last-minute delays.
PwD/PH candidates who have opted to use their own scribes must email the details and required documentation at least five days before the exam begins. Failure to do so will result in the Commission assigning a scribe based on existing norms.
