Description
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced the results for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 8 Stage 1. Candidates can now access their results through the official website. The examination for Stage 1 was conducted on April 12.
According to the result notification, the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for Stage 2 have been released. These candidates have been provisionally qualified based on their performance and the applicable eligibility criteria.
Stage 2 Exam Details
The Stage 2 examination for NORCET 8 is scheduled to be held on May 2, 2025. As per AIIMS, out of 72,462 registered candidates, 68,074 appeared for the Stage 1 exam, and 38,173 of them qualified under the prescribed norms. A total of 11,472 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the second stage of the recruitment test.
Cut-Off & Exam City Selection
AIIMS has also released the category-wise cut-off percentiles. All candidates who have qualified for Stage 2 are required to select their preferred exam city via the MyPage portal between April 20 and April 22 (till 5 PM). However, the final allotment of exam centres will be at the discretion of AIIMS, irrespective of the candidate’s choice.

Admit Card & Exam City Information
The admit card for the Stage 2 exam will be made available for download on April 29. Additionally, the exam city and status will be communicated one week prior to the examination date. Candidates are advised to stay updated and be prepared accordingly.
