Description
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification for the UGC NET June 2025 examination on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Candidates interested in appearing for the exam can now apply online through the official portal.
Key Dates:
Application Deadline: May 7, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM)
Correction Window: May 9 to May 10, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM)
Exam Dates (Tentative): June 21 to June 30, 2025
Exam Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
Details about the release of exam city slips and admit cards will be announced at a later stage.
Application Fee:
General (Unreserved): Rupees 1150
OBC-NCL / General-EWS: Rupees 600
SC/ST/Third Gender: Rupees 325
Payment can be made via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Exam Pattern: The UGC NET June 2025 exam will include two papers conducted in a single three-hour session. Both papers will consist of multiple-choice questions:
Paper I: 50 questions, 100 marks
Paper II: 100 questions, 200 marks
Each correct answer is awarded 2 marks. There is no negative marking, and no marks are awarded for questions left unanswered or marked for review.
