Description
The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has officially released the admit card for the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Main Written Examination 2023 on April 15, 2025. Candidates who are set to appear for the main exam can now download their hall tickets from the commission’s official website.
Examination Schedule
The OCS Main Exam 2023 is scheduled to be held from April 19 to April 27, 2025, across two daily sessions:
Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
The exam will commence with the Odia and English language papers and conclude with the Optional Subject Papers I and II.
Exam Pattern & Marking
The main examination carries a total of 2000 marks, which includes 250 marks for the Personality Test/Interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written exam and the interview.

Depending on candidate density, the exam will be held at five zonal centres:
Bhubaneswar
Cuttack
Balasore
Berhampur
Sambalpur

Recruitment Details
The OCS 2023 examination aims to fill 399 vacancies across various state departments. The application window was open from January 18 to February 16, 2024. Candidates will be allotted services based on their final ranking and the preferences submitted during application.
