The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has officially released the Class 1 admission lottery results for the academic session 2025-26. Parents and guardians can now check the results by visiting the official website. This marks a crucial milestone for thousands of families seeking admission to one of India's most reputable school networks, recognized for its high-quality education and disciplined academic environment.
The lottery system, which is a fair and transparent method of seat allocation, was used for admissions to both Class 1 and Balvatika classes across all Kendriya Vidyalayas nationwide. The registration for Class 1 took place from March 7 to March 21, while applications for Balvatika closed on March 24. After the verification of submitted applications, KVS published the first provisional list for Class 1, and the Balvatika provisional list is scheduled to be announced on March 28 at 4 PM.
Parents whose children have been selected in the first list are advised to visit the respective schools to complete the document verification and fee submission process to secure their ward's admission.
Upcoming Provisional Lists
For candidates not selected in the initial draw, KVS will release a second provisional list on April 2, 2025, and if vacancies still remain, a final list will be issued on April 7, 2025. This step-wise procedure ensures fairness and transparency throughout the admission process. In addition, the entire lottery draw was conducted in the presence of admission committees and was live-streamed on respective school YouTube channels, enabling parents to watch the process in real-time.

First visit the official website.
Now click on the link.
You will be redirected to the admission portal.
Enter your login code, your child’s date of birth, and your registered mobile number.
Click the login button to access the result.
Admission Process And Seat Allocation
The admission of selected candidates will proceed as per the official guidelines. Initially, 25% of the seats are reserved under the Right to Education (RTE) quota. Next, seats will be allotted under the Service Priority Categories I and II. If there are still vacant seats after these quotas are fulfilled, the remaining seats will be distributed accordingly.
