Description
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB JE CBT 1 Result 2025 on the official websites of the respective RRB regions. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results by visiting the regional website of the RRB to which they applied.
About Exam
The Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT-1) for the Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment was conducted on December 16, 17, and 18, 2024, at multiple exam centers across the country. The exam lasted for 90 minutes and consisted of 100 questions. On December 23, 2024, the RRB released the question papers, responses, and answer keys for the exam, and the objection window was open until December 28, 2024.
Recruitment Process
The selection process for the RRB JE recruitment involves multiple stages:
First Stage - CBT (CBT-I)
Second Stage - CBT (CBT-II)
Document Verification (DV)
Medical Examination (ME)

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and category preferences. Only those who meet or exceed the cutoff marks for their respective categories in CBT-I will be considered for the next stage, which is Document Verification (DV) after the CBT-II results. The Second-Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) for posts like JE, DMS, CMA, CS & MS under CEN No. 03/2024 will be held soon. The exact date for CBT-II will be announced in due course.
Along with the results, the cut-off marks for the recruitment exam have also been released by the board.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7951 vacancies, including:
17 positions for Chemical Supervisor/Research and Metallurgical Supervisor/Research
7934 positions for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant roles.
