Description
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has declared the Sankranti holidays for all Intermediate colleges in the state. The holidays will begin on Saturday, January 11, and extend through Thursday, January 16. Classes will resume on Friday, January 17, as reported by local media.
The holiday announcement applies to all junior colleges, including government, private, aided, unaided, residential, social welfare, tribal welfare, model schools, BC welfare institutions, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, and composite degree colleges offering the two-year Intermediate course. The TSBIE has instructed college principals, especially in private unaided institutions, to strictly follow the holiday schedule and not hold classes during this period.
Regarding the Intermediate Public Examinations 2025, the TSBIE released a tentative exam schedule in December. The exams are set to begin on March 5 and will conclude on March 25, 2025, for both 1st and 2nd-year students across general and vocational streams, including MPC, BIPC, MEC, and vocational courses.
