The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the official timetable for the Class 8 and Class 9 exams. The Class 8 exams will begin on January 28, 2025, while the Class 9 exams are set to start on January 29, 2025. Both exams will be conducted in two shifts: the morning shift will run from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM, and the afternoon shift will be from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. Students can download the official exam timetable from the JAC official website. Admit cards for Class 9 exams will also be available for download on the same portal.

For the Class 8 exams, the Department of School Examination and Literacy in Jharkhand, Ranchi, will be using OMR sheets. Each subject will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth 50 marks. In addition, the school-level internal evaluation will contribute 100 marks to the total score. The detailed exam schedule will provide key information, including the exam timings, subjects, and other essential guidelines. Students are reminded to carry their admit cards on the day of the exam to avoid any complications at the exam center.
