Description

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has released the exam day guidelines for CLAT 2025, scheduled to be held on December 1, 2024. Candidates planning to appear for the exam should carefully review these instructions to ensure a smooth experience on the test day.

The CLAT 2025 admit card has been issued and is an essential document for entry into the exam centre. It contains important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre information, reporting time, and other exam day instructions. Candidates must bring a printed copy of the admit card to the test centre.

Reporting To CLAT 2025 Test Centre And Exam Timings

  • Candidates are allowed to enter the test centre premises starting at 1:00 PM. They must be seated at their designated seats in the hall/classroom by 1:30 PM.

  • Once inside the exam hall, candidates will not be allowed to leave before 4:00 PM.

  • Late entry: No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after 2:15 PM.

  • The exam will begin promptly at 2:00 PM and will last for 2 hours (until 4:00 PM). For PwD/SAP candidates, the exam duration is extended to 2 hours and 40 minutes (until 4:40 PM).

  • Candidates will not be permitted to use the washroom once the exam has started.

Indicate the commencement of the Test. Candidates can open Sealed Envelopes/ Commencement of the Test.

No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Test Hall after this bell.

Indicate the completion of 30 Minutes of the Test

Indicate the completion of 1:30 hours of the Test

Indicate Warning Bell– 10 Minutes remaining

To Mark the Completion of the Test (No candidate shall be allowed to write anything on the OMR Response Sheet/ Question Paper Booklet after this Bell)

Documents Required On CLAT 2025 Exam Day

Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre:

  • Admit Card

  • Government ID Proof

  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)

  • Items Permitted Inside the CLAT 2025 Test Centre

The Following Items Are Allowed Inside The Exam Centre:

  • Black or Blue Ballpoint Pens (for marking OMR sheets)

  • Transparent Water Bottle

  • Analogue Watch (smartwatches are not allowed)

  • Government ID Proof (must be the same as the one mentioned in the admit card)

Note: Bags, electronic devices, or any other personal items are not permitted inside the exam centre.

Items To Retain After The Exam

After the exam concludes, candidates should retain the following documents for future reference:

  • Admit Card

  • Question Paper (QB)

  • OMR Response Sheet
