The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will soon release the results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I exam 2024. The provisional answer key was published on October 3, 2024, with an objection window open from October 3 to October 8, 2024.
SSC CGL Result 2024: Exam Details
The SSC CGL Tier I exam consisted of objective-type multiple-choice questions covering four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section had 25 questions, with a total of 50 marks. The exam was conducted in both English and Hindi, except for the English Comprehension section.

The minimum qualifying marks for SSC CGL 2024 are:
Unreserved (General): 30%
OBC/EWS: 25%
All Other Categories: 20%

This recruitment drive aims to fill 17,727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Government of India, as well as other Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals.
Upcoming Exam Phases
The SSC CGL Tier II exam will take place on January 18, 19, and 20, 2025. Candidates who qualify the Tier I exam will be eligible to appear for the Tier II examination.
No Re-Evaluation Or Re-Checking
Please note, there will be no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of the scores at any stage of the SSC CGL exam process.
Document Verification
After the final result is declared, successful candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV) by the respective User Departments or Organizations. Candidates must bring the original documents along with photocopies for the verification process.
