The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta will start the CAT 2024 registration and application process on August 1, 2024. The link to register for the Common Admission Test 2024 is available on the  official website. Management candidates planning to appear for examinations in November 2024 must complete the registration and application process within the time frame specified.

The deadline for students to register for CAT 2024 is September 13, 2024. Before filling out the applications, students should carefully review the eligibility criteria. When submitting CAT applications, candidates must provide a valid email address, a cell phone number, and a copy of all essential documents. 

The CAT application fee must be submitted online. Candidates are recommended to have their banking information handy when applying for the CAT 2024.

CAT 2024 Eligibility

• Candidates applying must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% grades or equivalent CGPA [45% for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) students].

• Candidates in their final year of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification exams, as well as those who have finished degree requirements and are awaiting results, are eligible to apply.

• Candidates must have finished their professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA (CMA)/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) with the necessary percentage*.

According to the official notification, simply meeting the minimal eligibility requirements would not guarantee consideration for shortlisting by IIMs.

CAT exams are to be held on November 24, 2024. The exams will be held in three slots as per previous years across designated exam centres. To register for CAT 2024 students can follow the steps provided below-

• First visit the official website.

• Now click on New Registration link on CAT website.

• Enter the required details and register.

• Login to fill out CAT applications.

• Upload necessary documents along with scanned copies of photograph and signature.

• Fill in the exam centre city details.

• Submit the application fee.

• Save a copy of the application and click on submit.
