Description

The state Common Entrance Test (CET) cell will conduct an additional CET for integrated courses in BCA, BBA, BMS, BBM, MBA, and MCA on  August 4. 49,217 students from the state have registered for this exam.

This year was the first time CET was held for admission to BBA, BCA, BMS, and BBM courses. Many students struggled to pass the exam due to their unfamiliarity with it. As a result, students, parents, and educational institutions urged the State.

The Common Entrance Examination Board will offer an additional examination. Responding to this demand, the Higher and Technical Education Department launched the registration procedure for the additional CET on June 29, after the request was approved.

49,225 students registered for the exam, including 29,791 boys, 19,430 girls, and four other gender students. All registered students will appear in the exam on August 4. The CET office has informed the enrolled students that their admit cards would be sent by e-mail and SMS.

The CET cell first held the CET for BBA, BCA, BMS, and BBM courses on May 29, with 56,248 students enrolling. A total of 48,135 candidates attempted the exam. This sparked concerns about the huge number of seats that remained unfilled. Following this supplementary exam, the results will be released, and the admissions process will commence.
