Description
The Consortium of National Law Universities has announced the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. CLAT 2025 applications will be accepted from July 15 to October 15 on the official website.
The consortium announced that the entrance exam will be held on December 1 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm (or until 4:40 p.m. for PwD candidates).
CLAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
For UG
Candidates with at least 45% or equivalent marks in Class 12 can apply for the test. The percentage for SC, ST, and PwD candidates is 40%.
Candidates appearing in the Class 12 examination in March/April 2025 are also eligible to apply.
For PG
Candidates must hold an LLB degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. SC, ST, and PwD candidates must obtain a minimum of 45 percent.
Those appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2025 may also apply.
CLAT 2024 Application Fee
The CLAT 2025 application fee is Rupees 4,000 for those not belonging to SC, ST, PwD, or BPL categories. Candidates in these categories pay a fee of Rupees 3,500.
CLAT, the national-level entrance exam, is administered for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs provided by 24 national law universities situated around the country.
