Description
The National Testing Agency (NTA) 1 July issued the final answer key for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 re-exam, which was administered to 1563 students. Students who appeared in the retest can now view the final answer key at the official website.

The NTA performed a retest for 1563 students who were first given grace marks after claiming they had lost exam time. However, just 813 out of 1563 students appeared in the re-exam, according to officials. The retest was held in the same six cities, but with different centres.
The two candidates from Chandigarh did not attend for the exam. 291 students out of 602 appeared from Chhattisgarh, 1 from Gujarat, 287 out of 494 from Haryana, and 234 from Tura in Meghalaya.Meanwhile, that the Centre may consider holding the NEET UG online starting next year.
This year's NEET UG results received immediate notice after they were announced on June 4, the same day as the Lok Sabha election results. The unusual number of top scorers (67), scores of 718 and 719 for two students — marks others argued were not achievable under the exam's structure — and suspicions of paper leaks in multiple regions.
