Description
C3iHub, IIT Kanpur, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) Kanpur and the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Innovation Foundation (CSJMIF) to launch a Cyber Security vocational programme at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
This six-month program aims to provide students with the required skills and knowledge to flourish in the ever-expanding sector of cybersecurity. This course teaches system security, malware analysis, network security, cryptography, and IoT security. Custom laboratories at each student's workstation via the Cyber Range are a vital aspect of the instruction. It is intended to give students hands-on experience and industry-relevant knowledge, equipping them for successful employment in the cybersecurity field.
The education will be delivered online, providing students with both foundational information and hands-on experience.
Meanwhile, C3iHub will provide a Virtual Lab for course practicals, technical help desk support for students, course participation/completion certificates, and final assessment results to all students. CSJMU is responsible for ensuring the program's smooth execution, while CSJMIF will provide a platform for the application to execute on. The campaign aims to enroll up to 50,000 students.
