The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced on May 13 the schedule for mark verification, photocopies of evaluated answer books, and reassessment of CBSE Class 10, and 12 results in 2024 for students who are dissatisfied with their marks.
According to the schedule, Class 12 students can apply for marks verification from May 17 to May 21, while the Class 10 marks verification window will be open from May 20 to May 24. Candidates will have to pay Rs 500 per subject to use the facility.
CBSE informed that the board evaluated a total of 2,58,78,230 answer booklets for both Class 12 and 10 students, including 1,48,27,963 from Class 10 and 1,10,50,267 from Class 12. The board stated that the review of the student's answer sheets followed a 'well-established protocol' and detailed the measures required to ensure 'error-free' evaluation.
However, if students are still dissatisfied with their CBSE results 2024, they may use the facilities for which the board has established dates, modalities, steps, and fees.

The Trivandrum region had the highest pass rate in both classes 10 and 12, with 99.91 and 99.75, respectively. The Prayagraj region had the lowest pass percentage of 78.25 in Class 12, while Guwahati had the lowest in Class 10, at 77.94.

The board said that all the operations including application and fee payment will be handled online and a fall in scores even by one mark will be effected. In case of a change in scores, students will have to relinquish the Class 10, and 12 marksheets 2024, and new ones will be provided.
Only students who have applied for verification will be entitled to acquire a photocopy of their evaluated answer books. If the candidate wants to challenge the marks granted to a specific response, they must apply to for revaluation.
