The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the UGC NET June 2024 registration procedure on May 10, 2024. Candidates who want to apply for UGC NET June 2024 can do so directly through NTA UGC's official website.

The link to register will be available until 11:50 pm. The deadline for submitting the examination fee (by credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI) is May 12, 2024. The rectification window will be available on May 13 and close on May 15, 2024.

Steps To Apply Online UGC NET June 2024

  • First visit the official website.

  • Now click on UGC NET June 2024 link available on the home page.

  • Register yourself and login to the account.

  • Fill the application form and make the payment of application fee.

  • Click on submit and download the confirmation page.

  • Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

Fee Details

The application fee for General/Unreserved is Rupees 1150/-, while SC/ST/PwD and Third Gender are Rupees 325/. The fee should be paid online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

The UGC NET June 2024 examination will take place on June 18, 2024, rather than June 16, 2024. The decision to postpone the UGC NET test was made after NTA received numerous requests from candidates to prolong the date of the test for UGC NET June 2024 due to the UPSC CSE (Prelims) Examination - 2024 on the same date, i.e., June 16, 2024.

UGC NET In June 2024, an examination will be held to determine the eligibility of Indian citizens for the 'grant of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor', 'appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.', and 'admission to Ph.D. only' in Indian institutions and colleges. The exam will be administered in 83 subjects using OMR (Pen and Paper) format. The test will consist of two papers. Both papers will have objective type, multiple choice questions.
