The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate 2024 (NEET UG 2024) on May 5. Aside from taking the NEET UG admit card to the exam center, the NTA has issued a set of rules to be followed on exam day.
Here is a list of what can and cannot be carried into the exam hall. Furthermore, NEET UG candidates must observe a proper dress code.
NEET UG 2024 Dress Code
Candidates are required to observe the following dress code while sitting for the NEET UG 2024-
Heavy clothing and long sleeves are not allowed.
Shoes are not allowed. Slippers and sandals with low heels are allowed.
Candidates wearing articles or objects of faith, whether traditional, cultural, or religious, should report to the examination center by 12:30 pm to allow adequate time for proper frisking without causing difficulty to the candidate while keeping the sanctity of the examination, according to the NTA.
The exam conducting authority also stated that if it is detected during screening that a candidate is carrying a suspected device within such article of religion, the candidate may be instructed not to bring it into the exam hall.
NEET UG 2024: Things Not Allowed
Candidates are not allowed to carry the following things to the NEET exam hall-
The instruments
Geometry, or pencil box
Handbag or purse.
Any type of paper, stationery, or textual material, whether printed or written
Eatables, either loose or packaged. Candidates with diabetes are permitted to bring eatables to the exam hall with prior notice, such as sugar tablets and fruits such as banana, apple, or orange, as well as transparent water bottles. However, they will not be permitted to transport packed items such as chocolates, sweets, or sandwiches.
Water.
Mobile phone, earphone, microphone, pager, calculator, docu pen, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches with calculator functions, any metallic item, or electronic gadgets or devices
NEET UG 2024: Things To Carry
NEET UG admit card with passport-size photograph affixed to it
One passport-sized photograph must be pasted on the attendance sheet
A valid original identity proof.
PwBD certificate (if appropriate)
A postcard-sized (4"X6") color photograph with a white backdrop should be put on the proforma downloaded with the admit card and given over to the invigilator at the exam center.
NEET UG admit cards can be downloaded on the NTA's official website Before attending the exam, medical students must attach their most recent postcard-sized color photograph to their NEET UG admit card. The NEET 2024 UG admit card also includes a self-declaration form.
