The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) will take place on April 28. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) announced the exam admit cards on April 18, and they are available at the official website.
Candidates should remember to bring their WBJEE 2024 admit cards to the exam center, as they will only be allowed to enter after providing their admit card and an identity card. Paper I (Mathematics) will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, while Paper II (Physics and Chemistry) will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates are recommended to reach the examination venues at least 30 minutes before the start of the test.
No candidate will be allowed to sit for the test in any center other than the one allotted to him/her and as specified in the admit card.
Bring the following documents to the examination center:
- Any photo identity card in its original form, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter card, 10th class admit card, or school ID card.
- A copy of the colored photograph that was uploaded during the online application.
Under no circumstances will a candidate be allowed to enter the examination center after the stated start time for either half of the test.
Candidates are not permitted to bring any written or printed materials, calculators, pens, log tables, wristwatches, communication devices such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, etc., inside the examination hall. Any candidate caught in possession of forbidden items will be reported, and his or her nomination will be summarily canceled.
There will be no conversation with the invigilator regarding any questions.
If any examinee is caught impersonating, they will be turned over to the authorities, and the original candidate's candidature would be terminated outright.
In the exam, questions are answered on a specifically constructed optical machine-readable response (OMR) sheet, which is analyzed using the Optical Mark Recognition method. Thus, candidates must use the proper marking procedure. Candidates will respond by completely darkening the corresponding circle/bubble with a blue/black ink ballpoint pen; no other marks will be considered.
Candidates who appear in both papers 1 and 2 are eligible for both the General Merit Rank (GMR) and the Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). These candidates are considered for admission to all courses. Only those who appear in Paper 2 are eligible for PMR. Such candidates are solely considered for admission to Pharmacy courses (except at Jadavpur University). Candidates who solely participate in paper 1 are ineligible for any rank.
After the WBJEE 2024 exam, model answer keys will be available for a limited time on the board's website. Candidates will be able to log on, review the model answer keys, and file objections.
