According to an NTA official, the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Session 2 results would most likely be announced around April 20. However, before announcing the JEE Main results, the NTA will post the final answer key on its official website.
The JEE Main 2024 results will be compiled using the final answer key that has been released. The NTA has already released the JEE Main provisional answer key and has urged candidates to submit any objection to it. A team of specialists then reviewed all of the highlighted objections and created an answer key based on them.
This time, the NTA conducted the exam in two sessions: January and April. The April session results will be announced, along with the cut-off required to qualify for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam. The total number of JEE Main registrations in both sessions exceeded 24 lakh: 12,21,624 in session 1 and 12.57 lakh in session 2. The best of the candidate's JEE Main scores will be considered when determining the final merit list.
In session 1, 23 students received 100 percentile scores. According to NTA data, Telangana has the most 100 percentile holders with seven individuals, followed by Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan with three apiece. Both Delhi and Haryana have two 100 percentile holders. In addition, one student from each of Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Karnataka earned 100 percentile marks in the session 1 exam.
The JEE Main percentile scores are determined from the relative performances of all individuals who appear in the exam. The marks earned are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each examination session, according to the NTA's official booklet.
