The National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2024) Session 2 on April 4, 2024. The exam will be administered in a computer-based test (CBT) format at a number of exam centers located across the country.
The National Testing Agency has also set up 22 exam centers abroad. Candidates must bring their JEE Main admit card 2024 along with a valid picture ID to the exam center.
JEE Main 2024 Exam Date Guidelines
Candidates must bring their JEE Main admit card to the exam hall.
The bar code must be plainly visible on the admit card.
Candidates must be at the exam centers 30 minutes before the time shown on their admit card.
Those who did not register for the JEE Main Exam Session 2 2024 using their DigiLocker ID or ABC ID must arrive at the examination center an hour before the exams begin for verification.
They are not allowed to carry phones, calculators, smart watches, or any other unapproved items.
To facilitate security checks, he or she must avoid wearing clothing with metal features such as buttons and zippers.
Candidates may not wear or carry any jewelry, such as rings, bracelets, or necklaces.
JEE Main Exam 2024: What Should You Bring?
The NTA has released instructions on what a candidate must bring to the exam centres. Students are allowed to bring the following items-
JEE admit card and valid picture ID proof.
A valid photo ID proof comprises a school ID card, Aadhaar card, PAN card, driver's license, voter ID, and passport.
A hard copy of the self-declaration form.
An additional photograph for the attendance sheet.
PwD certificate, if applicable.
A blue or black ballpoint pen, accompanied with a transparent water bottle.
Fruits such as bananas, oranges, and apples, as well as sugar tablets, if the individual is diabetic.
Candidates must not bring a sheet of paper for calculations. Sketch pads will be provided in the examination hall.
