Description
So far, 46 central universities and 32 state universities have enrolled for admission through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2024. UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar released the information on the social media platform X. Along with central and state universities, there are 20 deemed-to-be universities, 98 private universities, and six government institutes that have registered.

The chairman has also released a list of universities that will accept students through the undergraduate entrance exam. The list of central and state universities includes Aligarh Muslim University, Assam University, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Banaras Hindu University, Central University of Kashmir, Central University of Kerala, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi Technological University, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, and others. Private universities such as Adani University, Amity University, Alliance University, Chandigarh University, Chitkara University, Galgotias University, Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Guna, and Noida International University have all registered for the CUET-UG 2024.

About CUET-UG
CUET is conducted for admission to all undergraduate programs at central, state, and private universities for the academic year 2024-25. The exam will give a uniform platform and equitable opportunity for candidates across the country, particularly those from rural and other remote areas. The exam will take place between May 15 and 31, 2024. The exam date sheet will be provided on March 26, following the completion of the registration procedure.
