HEIMANTI BISWA SARMA, Chief Minister of Assam, has declared the result of the Primary Education Samagra Shikha Assam for Gunotsav 2024 on the official website of https://gunotsav2024.in . The Chief Minister distributed the appointment letter to the beneficiaries of the Primary Education Scheme for Gunotsav in the presence of the members of the committee. The Chief Minister also announced incentives to the A+ grade schools of the school for Gunotsav. He also announced scholarships for minority students, fee waiver to the beneficiaries, and mobility grants to the beneficiaries.

Now on the homepage, click on the Gunotsav result login window.
Submit the login details.
Assam Gunotsav 2024 result will appear on the screen.
View and download the scorecard.
Keep a hardcopy for reference
Over 81% of schools have obtained A or A+ marks.
The fifth edition of the programme serves 39 lakh children and encompasses 43,591 schools. As compared to 75% in 2023, over 81% of schools have obtained A or A+ marks.
An official tweet of Himanta Biswa Sarma reads, ‘’Important day for education and sports in Assam today. We are releasing the results of Gunotsav 2024; distributing scholarships for girl students from the minority communities , renovation funds for 12,000+ schools, and appointment letters for sportspersons.’’
About Gunotsav 2024
Gunotsav is a state Government initiative for improvement of quality of school education. The four core areas viz. Scholastic (learning outcomes of children), Co-scholastic, Infrastructure and community participation are evaluated in Gunotsav exercise. Schools are graded as A+, A, B, C and D on the basis of performance(90% on Scholastic , 5% each on Co-scholastic & other areas and Community Participation & Contributions). This exercise helps in identifying the learning gaps and ensuring taking appropriate remedial measures for attaining grade specific learning outcomes by all children. Considering the importance of Gunotsav exercise, Govt. has already been issued notification regarding incorporation of schedule of Gunotsav in Academic Calendar of the school. Gunotsav 2024 (fifth round) has been scheduled in the month January and February 2024 in three (03) phases.
There will be both Self Evaluation and External Evaluation. For school, evaluation will be for two days (Day-1 Self Evaluation and Day -2 External evaluation) and for state, evaluation will be for four days (Day-1 Self Evaluation and Day-2, 3, 4 External evaluation). Scholastic evaluation will be for class I to IX. All Government/Provincialised/Tea Garden Model Schools/Tea Garden Managed Schools/ Adarsha Vidyalayas/ KGBVs/ Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalayas (Residential Schools) of Elementary and Secondary level will be covered. The districts will be covered in three phases. Schools of each district will be distributed over three days for external evaluation. 100% schools will be evaluated.
Hon’ble Chief Minister, Hon’ble Minister, Hon’ble MPs, Hon’ble MLAs, Chief Secretary to the GOA, Senior IAS, IPS and IFS officers and other class I & II officers of the state are engaged as External Evaluator in the exercise. The whole exercise will be conducted following a robust mechanism with use of technology- OMR based evaluation (from Class–III onwards, students fill up the OMR sheet themselves), reshuffling of teachers within cluster on the day of External evaluation through randomization software to carry out their duties in different schools in a transparent manner etc.. The External Evaluators will submit School Evaluation with modification, changes, if any and also their confidential report through portal.
