Description

Sanjay Kumar Singh is set to become Director (Projects) at NHPC Limited, following a commendation from the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on March 12. Singh, who is currently the Chief General Manager of SJVN Limited, is the recommended candidate out of a field of twelve. Eight of them come from NHPC, two from SJVN, and one each from HPSEBL and Patel Engineering Ltd.

Responsibilities Of Director (Projects)

  • Singh will join NHPC's Board of Directors and report directly to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD).

  • He will be in charge of project planning, execution, and contracting, and will play a critical role in ensuring effective administrative and technical supervision of projects, with a focus on timely completion.
