Description
Smriti Zubin Irani, Union Minister for Minority Affairs, announced two major measures targeted at improving the Haj pilgrimage experience for 2024. The Haj Suvidha App was launched to give vital information and access to critical services, while the Haj Guide-2024 was released to educate pilgrims on many parts of the journey, with a focus on how to use the app successfully.
Haj Suvidha App Launch
Purpose- To improve the Haj pilgrimage experience by providing direct access to critical services.

Development- BISAG-N is in charge of development, with the Union Minister for Minority Affairs overseeing the process.
Impact- Expected to make routine activities like travel plans and documentation easier, allowing pilgrims to focus on their spiritual experience.
Haj Guide 2024 Release
Objective- To educate pilgrims on many aspects of the Haj pilgrimage and encourage the proper use of the Haj Suvidha App.
Languages- Published in ten languages to ensure widespread accessibility.
Distribution- Will be distributed to all Haj pilgrims in order to help them understand the pilgrimage process and how to use digital tools effectively.
Training Of Trainers Programme
Purpose- To raise awareness and educate trainers in charge of teaching Haj pilgrims.
Attendance- More than 550 trainers from different states and union territories attended.
Outcome- To ensure a fulfilling pilgrimage experience by raising pilgrims' understanding of many facets of the journey.
