Description
Pondicherry University's Directorate of Distance Education has begun the admissions process for several distance learning programmes for the academic year 2024. The deadline to register for undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA programs is March 31, 2024. Candidates can finish the application procedure at the official website.
The university's distance education program provides 20 courses to students. Prospective students can pursue MBA degrees in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, General, Tourism, Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Hospital Management.
Pondicherry University also provides four post-graduate programs: MCom (Finance) and MA in English, Hindi, and Sociology. It also offers eight undergraduate programs, including BBA, BCom, BA in English, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Journalism, and Mass Communication.
The aforementioned degree programs have been recognized and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education and the Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB), both based in New Delhi.

Steps To Apply For Distance Education Programme 2024
First visit the official website.
Now click on the ‘Admission Open’ tab.
Click on ‘Apply Online’ and enter your valid login credentials to fill out the application form.
Fill in the relevant educational and other qualifications.
Upload the required documents.
Pay the registration fee to complete the application process.
Click on ‘Submit’ and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Application Fee For Distance Education Programme 2024
Students must submit a Rs 200 application fee for undergraduate and postgraduate programs by March 31, 2024. Meanwhile, the registration fee for MBA courses is Rs 300.
Students should also be aware that the university will provide a 100% fee remission to differently-abled students. It will also provide a 50% tuition fee reduction to defense personnel serving in armed and paramilitary forces, non-teaching university employees and their dependents (Group B, C, and D only), widows, deserted women, prisoners, and transgender people.
