Registration for the Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2024 will open for the Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) categories on January 16. The exam dates had already been announced. The PCB exams will be place from April 16 to 24, while the PCM exams will be scheduled from April 25 to 30.
MHT CET Eligibility 2024
Students who have completed or will complete their Class 12 board examinations in 2024 are eligible to apply. Students sitting Class 12 examinations this year, on the other hand, must present a pass certificate if they pass the MHT CET exams.
The MHT CET syllabus states that the question paper will cover the Maharashtra State Education Board's Class 11 and 12 courses. The examination will last 180 minutes and will be worth 200 marks with no negative marking.
MHT CET 2024
The following is the distribution of questions across sections-
Physics 10 questions from Class 11 and 40 questions from Class 12.
Chemistry 10 questions from Class 11 and 40 questions from Class 12.
Mathematics 10 questions from Class 11 and 40 questions from Class 12.
Biology 10 questions from Class 11 (Botany) and 10 questions from Class 11 (Zoology), and 40 questions from Class 12 (Botany).
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education syllabus received a 20% weightage in the examination, whereas the Class 12 syllabus received an 80% weightage.
