Key Features Of The Barracuda
The Barracuda, named after the quick long fish, is a workboat designed by Navalt. The 14-meter long and 4.4-meter broad sailboat is outfitted with twin 50 kW electric motors, a marine-grade LFP battery, and 6 kW solar power, and has a top speed of 12 knots and a remarkable range of 7 hours on a single charge.
Navigating Difficult Marine Environments
The Barracuda performs in difficult marine situations since it is designed to maneuver through waves up to 4 meters high. It is IRS-certified for 12 passengers and promises a noise-free, vibration-free, and pollution-free trip.
Plans For An Eco-Friendly Adoption
Mazagon port Shipbuilders intends to launch the Barracuda, now officially known as the Saur Sakthi, from its Mumbai port. This completely eco-friendly sailboat is intended to meet a variety of demands while also contributing to a cleaner and quieter ocean.
