Because the bandh was declared on December 5, the message was sent to school students late at night. Given the circumstances, even instructors have not been summoned to the school.
Families chose not to send their children to school as a precaution, even if the closure notification was not given to the students. The school education family has also asked that schools remain closed on December 6 in solidarity of the bandh, for the sake of the students' safety.

In Rajasthan, tensions erupted following the death of two persons, including Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena President Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, President of the Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, was slain on December 5 when bullets were fired into his home. Their delegates have now called for a state bandh.
