Registration for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is already open and will run till November 30, 2023. JEE Main, the engineering entrance exam, will be held in two stages. The first will take place between January 24 and February 1, 2024, and the second will take place between April 1 and April 15, 2024.
The NTA has made a few changes to JEE Main 2024. The following are the cganges in the engineering entrance test, ranging from the host website address to the syllabus-
New JEE Main Website
The host website address of JEE Main 2024 has been changed by NTA. The official JEE Main website has been changed to jeemain.nta.ac.in. Previously, it was jeemain.nta.nic.in. The new website also has a chatbox to help students.
The new JEE Main website will provide access to all information, including JEE Main dates, notifications, admit cards, and results.
Registration Through ABC And DigiLocker
During JEE Main 2024 registration, candidates must create a Digi Locker account or an Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID). Candidates who do not desire to register through the Digi Locker / ABC ID must report to the examination center one hour before the entry time on the day of the examination.
Candidates can also register for JEE Main using their passport number, PAN Card number, or Aadhaar enrollment number. However, in order to register for these, they must arrive at the exam center early.
Number Of Exam Cities
The number of JEE Main 2024 exam cities in India has fallen to 300, down from 304 last year.

This year's JEE Main 2024 syllabus has also been updated. While certain chapters were completely deleted from this year's JEE Main syllabus, a few sub-topics were.
Fee For JEE Main Application
The NTA has also reduced the application fees for JEE Main. Last year, male candidates in the General, General-EWS, and OBC (NCL) categories had to pay an application fees of Rupees 1,000, while female candidates in these categories had to pay an application fee of Rupees 800. For male candidates, the NTA has now decreased the General-EWS and OBC NCL application fees. The application fee for JEE Main 2024 is Rupees 900 for the male candidates from the General-EWS and OBC NCL categories.
