Description
The All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE 2024) has been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and registrations have begun. Candidates who are interested can fill out an application form on the official website. The deadline for AISSEE 2024 applications is December 16 by 5:00 pm.
AISSEE is held in 33 Sainik Schools across the country for admission to Class 6 and Class 9. Sainik Schools are residential English-medium schools connected with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). They train cadets for the National Defence Academy, the Indian Naval Academy, and other training institutes.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has approved the establishment of 19 additional Sainik Schools. AISSEE 2024 will be used to determine admission to Class 6 of new Sainik Schools for the academic year 2024-25.
AISSEE 2024: Important information On Sainik School Entrance Exam
Date of examination- January 21, 2024
Exam Mode- OMR/pen and paper
Paper pattern- Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
Exam cities- 186 cities around the country (as listed in the information bulletin).
Eligibility for Class 6 admission- The candidate must be between the ages of 10 and 12 on March 31, 2024. Admission for girls is open for Class 6, subject to seat availability, and the age conditions are the same as for boys.
Eligibility for Class 9 admission- Must be between the ages of 13 and 15 as of March 31, 2024, and must have completed Class 8 from a recognized school at the time of admission. Girls' admission is open and subject to seat availability. The age limit is the same as for boys.
Application fee- Rupee 650 for general, wards of Defence personnel and ex-servicemen, OBC (NCL) and SC, ST fees is Rupees 500.
