Description
The Joint Entrance Examination Apex Board (JAB for Joint Entrance Examination JEE) board structure and administrative framework have been announced by the Ministry of Education. The National Testing Agency will be in charge of handling the information related to technological support, according to the official notification that was released. The C-DAC will concentrate on back-end tasks, such as pre- and post-examination women and application submission.
Following the conclusion of the previous JAB mandate, the authorities have decided to rebuild the JEE Apex Board to ensure smooth administration of the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams for the 2024 and 2025 academic year.

According to the officially notification released, the JAB will have final authority to establish policies, rules, and regulations for administering the entrance exam, and NTA will offer administrative and logistical support for conducting the JEE entrance exams. The board will work with the conducting institute to manage the JEE Advanced exams as well.
For admission to engineering programs provided at IITs, NITS, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), the JEE Main exams are administered. Candidates who pass the JEE Main exams may apply to sit for the JEE Advanced exams.
