The Indian Air Force (IAF) commemorated its 91st anniversary at Prayagraj's Bamrauli Air Force Station. Air Chief Marshal V.R. Chaudhari unveiled the new IAF ensign to commemorate the occasion. Several historic firsts occurred during this momentous occasion, including the inclusion of the Air Force crest and the first-ever female officer to command the Air Force Day Parade, Group Captain Shaliza Dhami, among others.
The IAF's New Ensign
One of the most prominent aspects of the celebration was the unveiling of the new IAF ensign. The most noticeable difference is the addition of the Air Force crest, which now appears in the top right corner of the ensign, towards the fly side. Spectacular Air Show

Induction of C-295 Transport Planes and Farewell of MiG-21 Bison
The recently launched C-295 transport aircraft made its first appearance at an Indian air show. At the same time, the iconic MiG-21 Bison fired what could be its final salute during a flight demonstration, with plans underway for its retirement by 2025. These moments reflected the evolution of the fleet and the IAF's modernization efforts.

Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari, in his address, emphasized the need for the IAF to adapt to the changing dynamics of the Air Force.
