Description

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made certain changes to the PhD entrance exam for the University of Delhi (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) for 2023. NTA explained the medium of question paper for the examination in the new NTA PhD entrance exam format. 

According to NTA, it has received inquiries from participating universities and candidates about several of the conditions mentioned in the PhD information bulletin. NTA has modified the PhD Entrance Test in response to the request. In addition, the reservation policy in effect at the participating universities will be followed.

The NTA clarified the medium of question paper for the NTA PhD entrance exam as a result of the adjustments. Along with the most recent admissions process, the NTA revised the timetable in response to a "request from stakeholders." The testing organization also stated that there will be no negative marking in the exam.

  • Commerce, finance, art, culture, and humanities subjects in the common section will be bilingual in English and Hindi.

  • Except for linguistics, modern Indian language, and literary studies, language papers will be written in their respective languages. These two classes will be held in English.

NTA PhD Registration 2023

The PhD entrance exam 2023 registration is still open. On September 8, 2023, the NTA will close the PhD entrance test registration window on the official website. Candidates who have already registered for the PhD entrance examination 2023 will be able to change their subjects during the correction period, which begins on September 9. Candidates will be able to make changes to their NTA application until September 11, 2023.
