Description
The Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) 2024 admission portal has been launched by the Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru. The official statement states that the GATE 2024 application procedure will begin on August 24, 2023. IISc Bangalore will soon provide the whole schedule for the GATE 2024 exams. Interested candidates should keep checking the admission portal for updates.
The GATE entrance exams are held at the all-India level by IISc and seven IITs for admission to postgraduate programs and several other government scholarships/assistantships at engineering colleges or institutes around the country.
Every year, the GATE entrance exams are held in February. According to reports, the GATE 2024 exams will be held in February 2024 this year as well. Complete information about the GATE 2024 exam schedule will be available on the admission portal.
GATE 2024 Exams
IISc Bangalore will soon release the GATE 2023 exam schedule. However, according to media reports, the GATE 2024 exams will be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The exams will be computer-based for 30 subject papers and 82 combination papers in total. According to sources, exams would be held in 219 different cities.
The questions will be of the objective type, with two sections: general aptitude (GA) and a subject chosen by the candidate. Students will be asked to answer multiple-choice (MCQ) and multiple-select (MSQ) questions, as well as numerical answer-type questions. Candidates who pass the GATE 2024 exams will be able to see their scorecards via an official link shortly after the results are released. The scorecard for GATE 2024 is valid for three years.

GATE 2024 enrollment will be available in two weeks. The link to register will be available on the official website. Candidates who want to appear for the GATE 2024 exams should go to the official website. Candidates will be able to fill out the online application form and submit the GATE 2023 application fee after finishing the GATE 2023 registrations.
