The Reserve Bank of India has released the notification for the Grade B Officers post on April 26, 2023. The total number of vacancies for the post is 291. The online registration process for the recruitment has commenced on May 9, 2023, and will continue till June 9, 2023.

Section-wise Analysis

English Language

This section of RBI Grade B Phase 1 2021  consisted of 30 questions of 30 marks to be attempted in a time limit of 25 minutes. The difficulty level of this section was moderate. An attempt of 20+ questions is considered as a brilliant try. The topic wise break up of questions are as follows.

Quantitative Aptitude

The overall level of the exam was between moderate to difficult. The data interpretation questions were lengthy but doable. The arithmetical problems were asked from Mensuration, Time and Work, Percentage Age Problems, etc. 15+ questions can be said to be a good attempt.

General Awareness

The section was of moderate to difficult level . Anyone who attempted 50+ questions can be said to be on the safer side. Detailed RBI Grade B paper analysis for General awareness is provided below.

1- The majority of the questions were based on current affairs.

2- Current Affairs mainly from October 2020 till February 2021. The remaining 20 Questions were from Financial Awareness, Schemes, Static Awareness.

3- Static GK consisted of 5-6 questions

4- Banking awareness consisted of 6-7 questions based on the current budget and economic issues.

Section-wise Analysis

English Language

The overall level of this section was moderate. And the reading comprehensions were based on the following themes:

1. Increasing cases of Tuberculosis and its preventions
2. Usage of the smartwatch to detect cardiac arrest remedy

General Awareness

The General Awareness section was moderate. Candidates were able to attempt the majority of the questions. Most of the questions were asked from Current affairs. there were 4-5 questions on a budget (Current +Static).

Note: Apart from these, 8-10 questions were based on Static GK and the section was moderate in terms of its level of difficulty.
