To be eligible to apply for the RBI GRADE B Examination, candidates must meet certain eligibility requirements. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria, such as age, minimum educational qualification, and so on, will have their candidature rejected by the authorities.The following conditions must be met for a candidate to be eligible for the RBI GRADE B Examination:
1. Nationality
2. Age Limit & Relaxations
3. Educational Qualifications
RBI GRADE B EXAMINATION: NATIONALITY
A candidate must be either -
1. A Citizen of India or
2. A subject of Nepal or
3. A subject of Bhutan or
4. A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
RBI GRADE B EXAMINATION: AGE LIMIT
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years.
Note :- For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualification, upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.

Other Backward Classes (OBC) | By 3 years, i.e. up to 33 years |
Persons with Disabilities (PWD) | By 10 years, i.e. up to 40 years |
PH + OBC | 13 years |
PH + SC/ST | 15 years |
Ex-Servicemen | 5 years |
RBI GRADE B EXAMINATION: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have at least minimum education qualifications, as indicated in the table below from a recognized university board -
