UPSC IAS PRE EXAM
IAS exam or Civil Service Exam (CSE) is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year. The exam is conducted at the pan India level. UPSC recruits the candidates for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Civil Services through this exam. All the ministries and the departments in the union and state governments are headed by the IAS officers which make this exam the most prestigious one in the nation. The topper of the IAS exam has the opportunity to become the Cabinet Secretary to the Government of India. It is the highest bureaucratic position one person can have in India.
There are three modes of recruitment into the Indian Administrative Service.
