The World Bank and India recently signed a loan agreement for the construction of 781 kilometers of green highways in four Indian states. The Green National Highway Corridor project will be built in four Indian states. Loan assistance of $500 million will be used for highway construction.

Objectives Of The Project
The Green National Highway Corridor project in India seeks to promote sustainable infrastructure. It will promote climate resilience and the use of clean energy technologies in highway construction.
