Description
The Central Board of Secondary Education has set up a new CBSE Regional Office and Centre of Excellence in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The new CBSE Regional Office in Vijayawada will bring the overall number of CBSE Regional Offices to 17. According to the official notification, the new office in Vijayawada will begin conducting CBSE Board examinations in the 2023-24 academic session.

According to the official notification, the Regional Office, Chennai will now have jurisdiction over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands beginning with the 2023-24 academic session. The Regional Office of Vijaywada will conduct board examinations beginning with the 2023-24 academic year, and the Centre of Excellence, Vijayawada will begin training activities following the regional office's operationalization, as per the notification.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued admit cards for classes 10 and 12. The admit card will be downloaded by school officials and distributed to students who will be taking the board exams. The CBSE board class 10 and 12 examinations will begin on February 15, 2023.
