The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will declare the cut-off marks for the CEED 2023 exam for Part A on February 9, 2023. Only eligible students will be able to see the cut-off marks, which will be announced category by category.
The marks obtained in the institution's cut-off list are used to determine candidate shortlisting. Furthermore, the institution will evaluate the answer booklets of all such candidates who are shortlisted.
These candidates will also be assigned a merit rank during the admissions process. Shortlisted candidates are eligible to participate in the seat allocation process organised by the participating institutes.
Selection Criteria
The admission committee will use the following formula to determine the cut-off marks for the Part A paper. Candidates seeking admission to various Design programmes can check the evaluation method that IIT Bombay will use to shortlist candidates for the current academic session 2023.
The marks secured by the participating candidates in Part A will be evaluated through rigorous tests and admission procedures laid out by the institute.

CEED 2023 Part A Admission Cut-off
Candidates should be aware that the cut-off marks for Part A are not considered the admission cut-off. In fact, the Part A cut-off is hardly ever used to select candidates for admission to IIT Bombay's Design programmes.
Shortlisted candidates' Part B answer booklets will be carefully evaluated, and they will be assigned a CEED 2023 merit rank to complete the admission process. Meanwhile, the CEED 2023 admission cut-off will be determined by participating institutes at the time of admission based on several factors such as CEED 2023 merit ranks of candidates, seat intake, and so on.
