The National Entrance Test for the Scheme for Residential Education for SC Students in High Schools in Targeted Areas (SHRESHTA) application correction facility is now open. The application deadline was April 14th. Candidates who want to make changes to their SHRESHTA (NETS) 2022 application form can do so online at shreshta.nta.nic.in.
The scheme, which began in the academic year 2022-23, aims to grant scholarships to deserving children in Classes 9 and 11 from Scheduled Caste communities to pay practically all of their educational expenditures. According to a CBSE statement made earlier, the plan entails the direct delivery of scholarships to the schools admitting the shortlisted pupils.
Corrections to the particulars in the Online Application Forms will be accepted till 5:00 p.m. on April 18, 2022, according to an official release.
"The candidates are requested to carefully complete the adjustment(s) since no further chance of correction will be granted," it continued.
Approximately 3,000 states would be available in fully financed Central Government schools for students in grades 9 and 11. The admission exam will take place on May 7. The test will be held in all 50 states as well as the Union Territories. Students in grades 8 and 10 who belong to the SC category will be allowed to apply for the test.
