Maharashtra Minister Varsha Gaikwad stated on Wednesday that if schools are proven to be involved in leaking question papers of Class 10 exams, the state government will suspend their registration.
Some members of the state legislative Council had asked the school education minister a question.
"A school's registration will be revoked if it is proved to be involved in a Class 10 exam paper leak." "The department will not give an exam centre there next time if a school enables children to replicate answers during tests," Ms Gaikwad said
The minister also informed the House that a school in Ahmednagar may lose its registration because students were permitted to copy replies. Soon, an official order will be issued.
Because every school now has an exam centre, the school education department has already sought increased security from the home department, according to the minister.
