UPSC ESE Prelims Exam 2022 has been announced by the Union Public Service Commission. On February 20, 2022, the Stage I examination will be held. Candidates who will sit for the Engineering Services Examination in 2022 can find the timetable on UPSC's official website, upsc.gov.in.
The preliminary test will be held in two shifts, first shift taking place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the second session taking place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The first shift will consist of general studies and engineering aptitude paper, and the duration of the exam will be for 2 hours. There are 200 points in all. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Telecom Engineering will make up the second shift. The exam will last 3 hours and will consist of 300 questions.
On September 22, 2021, the registration procedure began and completed on October 12, 2021. The purpose of this recruitment drive is to fill about 247 jobs, including 8 for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (06 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy & 02 vacancies for Hard of Hearing).
